The Lumitec Scallop Surface Mount Pathway Light brings low-profile lighting to dock walkways and decks. Its directed beam illuminates the walking surface while reducing glare. Choose polished stainless steel or bronze, then select warm white only or Spectrum RGBW with warm or cool white.

A slim surface-mounted housing keeps the fixture close to the deck. Lumitec identifies Scallop as an ADA-compliant dock and pathway light.

Current and light-output figures follow Lumitec’s 2026 product guide. Watt equivalents are calculated from the listed voltage and current (watts = volts × amps). For circuit sizing, the installation sheet lists up to 0.50 A at 12V DC or 0.25 A at 24V DC per fixture.
TWO WAYS TO FINISH YOUR DOCK
Choose your housing.
Polished stainless steel
Hand-polished 316 stainless steel gives the light a silver-toned appearance that coordinates with stainless dock and boat hardware.
Bronze
A hand-polished bronze finish adds a warmer metal tone to the same low-profile fixture.
Both finishes are offered with all three LED choices in the product selector. Choose your finish and LED output separately.
Made for the walking surface
Scallop directs light across pathways and deck surfaces. Its sealed housing and IP67 rating suit its role as an above-water dock light.
THREE LIGHTING OPTIONS
Which LED version is right?
The two Spectrum versions both provide RGB color plus dedicated white light. Their white-light temperature differs: choose 5000 K for cool white or 3000 K for warm white.

FROM A SIMPLE SWITCH TO A CONNECTED DOCK
Choose how you control the light.
Standard switch operation
A compatible on/off switch supports TTP operation. The installation sheet describes a four-second white-light ramp; a brief off/on toggle during that ramp selects a dimmed level.
Spectrum color selection
On Spectrum versions, timed off/on toggles start the color cycle and hold a desired color. Turning the light off for more than two seconds returns it to white at the next start.
Optional Poco control
Add a compatible Lumitec Poco controller for app-based lighting control. The Scallop fixture itself does not provide a standalone Bluetooth or Wi-Fi connection.
PLI and TTP support also allow Scallop to be incorporated into a compatible Mantis dock-light installation or Kraken dock-light system. Confirm the power budget, wiring and controller setup for your complete installation.

Lumitec’s product guide rounds the profile to 4 inches in diameter by 0.6 inch deep. The dimensional drawing shows 3.80 inches by 0.56 inch. Use the manufacturer’s template for mounting-hole locations.

AIM THE LIGHT WHERE IT BELONGS
Plan the beam, then the spacing.
Scallop’s optics spread light across the surface rather than sending it straight upward. Plan the fixture orientation around the path you want to illuminate.
Fixture spacing depends on the mounting position, deck layout, surrounding light and the coverage you want. Use the beam chart as a planning reference, then check the result at your installation before setting every mounting location.

A clear path from box to dock.
Placement
Position each fixture to cast light across the walking surface. Surface mounting still requires screw holes and a wire pass-through; check access below the deck before drilling.
Power and wiring
Use a compatible 12V or 24V DC system within the 10–30V DC input range. Connect red to positive and black to negative, with correctly sized wiring and circuit protection.
Control and capacity
Include every connected fixture when sizing the supply and controller. Use Lumitec’s instructions for switching and for adding the light to a Poco, Mantis or Kraken setup.

Common questions
Do I need a Poco controller?
No. Scallop supports operation from a compatible DC supply and standard switch. A compatible Poco controller adds app-based control.
What is the difference between the two Spectrum options?
Both offer RGB color and white light. RGB & Cool White uses 5000 K white; RGB & Warm White uses 3000 K white. The Warm White Only option does not offer RGB color.
Is this a 12V light or a 24V light?
The listed Scallop versions accept 10–30V DC, covering both 12V and 24V DC systems. Do not connect directly to household AC power.
Can I add it to Mantis or Kraken?
Lumitec lists Scallop for integration with both systems. Check the available power capacity, cabling and control configuration before adding fixtures.
Does surface mount mean no drilling?
No. The fixture mounts on the surface, but screw holes and a wire pass-through are still required. Refer to the installation template.
