The Lumitec Kraken Underwater Dock Light brings 6,000 lumens of rated white output to a modular dock lighting system. Choose Dual-Color White/Blue or Spectrum RGBW, then pair the light with the power and control equipment your installation needs. Made in the USA and based on Lumitec’s SeaBlazeX2 platform, Kraken suits residential docks and commercial waterfront projects.
This listing is for one light.
Includes one Kraken light in your selected color-output version, a 30-foot cable and two mounting straps. The Kraken Command Center, power supply and Poco controller are sold separately. This is not a complete plug-in lighting kit.

Specifications: White/Blue model and Spectrum model. White-output ratings are not ratings for every individual color. The 60 W rating is for one light, not the AC consumption of a complete system.
Lumitec’s current limited warranty applies for five years to purchases made on or after January 1, 2025. Earlier purchases retain their original warranty terms.

Wireless control comes from the compatible controller, not from a wireless connection built into the individual light. Available features depend on the controller and system configuration.

Build the system around your dock.
Use this single light to expand a compatible Kraken installation or as a component in a new system. Every installation needs a suitable low-voltage power supply; mobile-device control also requires compatible Poco control equipment.
Adding to an existing Kraken system?
Confirm the installed command box has enough remaining power and control capacity. Lumitec specifies up to six Kraken underwater lights per compatible command box. Above-water fixtures and other connected loads must be included in the system design.
Match the new light’s color-output version to the look you want, then check cable reach, wire sizing and controller compatibility.
Starting a new installation?
The Kraken Command Center combines the power and control equipment for a modular installation. Select the appropriate model for your project; this single-light listing does not include it.
For a packaged starting point, see the Kraken three-light kit. Custom power-supply installations must follow Lumitec’s wiring instructions.
The light operates on DC power. Do not connect it directly to a household AC outlet. The system power supply must be suitable for submersible lighting and supplied by a GFCI-protected circuit, as specified in the manufacturer’s instructions.

Check piling size and strap reach before ordering. If the light cable will not reach the connection point, plan the extension and conductor size using the manufacturer’s instructions.
PLAN THE INSTALL BEFORE YOU BUY
Mount below the waterline. Connect above it.
Plan placement around low tide, boat traffic and the route back to your power equipment. The manufacturer’s guide covers mounting, wiring, grounding, surge protection and control setup.
1 / Position the light
The installation guide places the light approximately 6 inches below the typical low-tide waterline and specifies a maximum depth of 8 feet. Clean growth from the piling so the mount sits securely.
2 / Secure the mount and cable
Use the mounting strap arrangement in the guide and secure the cable against abrasion. Route it away from boats and moving equipment.
3 / Make the connections
Keep installer-made cable connections outside the water and account for tidal changes. Follow the power-supply, GFCI, grounding and surge-protection requirements.

Common questions
Is this a complete lighting kit?
No. This listing includes one Kraken light with a 30-foot cable and two mounting straps. Power and control equipment are sold separately.
Can I plug this light into a household outlet?
No. The individual light requires 10–30 V DC. A suitable power supply is needed between the light and the AC electrical service.
Do I have to use a Kraken Command Center?
It is the integrated power-and-control option for a Kraken system. Lumitec also documents custom power-supply installations. Have a qualified installer verify the supply, protection and wiring for your project; a generic LED driver alone does not establish compatibility.
Does the light connect directly to my phone?
No. Phone or tablet control is provided through compatible Poco equipment, such as the controller in the Kraken Command Center. The controller is not included with this single light.
How many Kraken lights can one command box support?
Lumitec specifies up to six Kraken underwater lights per compatible command box. Confirm the power and control limits for the exact box and include any other connected lighting loads.
Is the 6,000-lumen rating the same for every color?
No. It is the rated white output. Blue and other selected colors are not specified as producing the same lumen output.
How should I maintain the lens?
The installation guide recommends monthly cleaning with a stiff plastic-bristle brush. Avoid scrapers, abrasives and strong alkaline or acid cleaners. Follow the manufacturer’s maintenance instructions.
