The Lumitec Mirage Flush Mount LED Down Light combines a slim round face with sealed construction for interior and exterior overhead lighting on boats. Choose a White, Polished Stainless Steel or Glass finish, then select the light-output version that fits your space. The standard Mirage installs in a 2-inch cutout and operates on 10–30 V DC.

White and Polished Stainless Steel versions use a 3.25-inch bezel. The Glass version has a smaller 2.50-inch face for a minimal appearance.

Light output and electrical specifications vary by version. The 300-lumen rating applies to the High-CRI Warm White models, not the complete range.

CONTROL, EXPLAINED
Simple switching. Model-specific features.
Timed Toggle Protocol — TTP
On supported versions, brief off/on actions with a standard switch select available colors or set dimmed white output. The sequence depends on the model; follow its operating instructions.
Third-party dimmers and Poco
External dimmer compatibility is separate from TTP switch control. Some white-only models have third-party dimmer support without TTP. Poco integration also requires a compatible Mirage version and suitable system equipment.
A separate Poco controller is not required for basic switch operation. Confirm compatibility before adding an external dimmer or controller.

The cutout is larger than the 1.92-inch body dimension. Leave additional room for cable connections, spring movement and the mounting material. Use the manufacturer’s template and the actual fixture before cutting.

What’s in the box?

Plan a compatible DC power source, circuit protection, switch and any optional control equipment for your installation.
PLAN BEFORE YOU CUT
Fit. Connect. Secure.
- Check the 2-inch cutout location and clearance behind the mounting surface.
- Connect to the appropriate DC circuit with correct polarity and circuit protection.
- Fold the spring clips back and insert the body as shown in the installation instructions.
- Test the selected version’s switch and control functions before completing the installation.

Common questions
What size hole does the standard Mirage need?
A 2-inch-diameter cutout. The 1.92-inch dimension in the drawing describes the body, not the installation hole.
Are all Mirage options dimmable?
No. Dimming depends on the model and control method. Check the complete option label and the selected part number. TTP dimming and compatible third-party dimming are different features.
Does the four-color model offer a full rainbow?
No. The four-color option offers white, red, blue and purple. It is not the Spectrum RGBW model.
Can I use it outdoors on my boat?
The sealed IP67 design is suitable for interior and exterior overhead lighting. It is not intended for permanent underwater installation.
Do all finishes cover the same area around the cutout?
No. White and Polished versions have a 3.25-inch bezel; the Glass version has a 2.50-inch face. Check whether the selected finish will cover any existing marks or opening.
Can I connect it directly to household power?
No. Mirage requires 10–30 V DC. An installation powered from AC needs an appropriate DC power supply.
Does the light connect directly to my phone?
No. Smartphone control requires compatible external control equipment and a supported Mirage version.
What warranty applies?
Lumitec’s current limited warranty is five years for purchases made on or after January 1, 2025. Earlier purchases retain their original warranty terms. See Lumitec’s warranty terms.
